Elizabete Grinblate, a Master's degree student from the University of Latvia, took advantage of the FORTHEM Individual Short Term Mobility and visited University of Jyväskylä during the first week of September 2021. PhD Eerika Koskinen-Koivisto acted as her host during the visit.

FORTHEM Individual Short Term Mobility programme allows students to visit another FORTHEM university according to their interests. An individual travel grant is paid to the student, and the local FORTHEM office assists with the practicalities. During the visit of maximum of 10 days, the student and the academic host will get to know each other, work with the topic, and search for possibilities for further collaboration.

Eerika and Elizabete both found this programme very interesting, inspiring and highly appreciated, especially after the long period of covid-19 isolation. Stay tuned for their blog post about their experience!
