FORTHEM Labs for Research, Education and Innovation

Labs are FORTHEM’s expert networks that consist of teams of researchers, students and external partners that work together to address pressing societal challenges in Europe. Labs work on various topics, and they seek to involve actors outside the academia as well, so private companies are warmly invited to join them. You can collaborate with Labs and benefit from them by e.g. providing internship opportunities to students, or by contributing to an output that you deem important to your company’s mission.

If you or your company want to learn more about Labs and their themes, click here. If you are interested in joining a Lab or want to know more about them, you can contact the respective Lab’s local coordinator at your home university. The contact details of the Lab coordinators can be found in the descriptive pages of each Lab, behind the link.

Internship placements (also virtual) and other forms of cooperation needed!

The main objectives of this project, financed by the European Union, are to support cultural and linguistic openness, student mobility, and the development of a European network of universities, and the interaction between universities and external partners.

Therefore we would like to create a network of partner universities, institutions and companies as basis for the necessary synergy to combine dynamism and flexibility to experiment with new and innovative forms of cooperation, that eventually will lead to a unified eco-system of the participating units.

The private companies wanting to become part of FORTHEM community are invited to provide internship placements, tasks to solve or any other suggestions for innovative forms of cooperation to any of the FORTHEM offices listed below:
